ABOUT HYUNDAI
Hyundai is a group of companies founded by Chung Ju-yung in South Korea. The first Hyundai company was founded in 1947 as a construction company, and eventually became South Korea's largest conglomerate company (Jaebeol).
Some of the best-known Hyundai divisions are Hyundai Motor Company - the world's 4th largest automaker and one of the The Asian Four (with Toyota, Honda and Nissan), Hyundai Heavy Industries - the world's largest shipbuilder, and Hynix - a top semiconductor manufacturer. Other companies currently or formerly controlled by members of Chung's extended family may be loosely referred to as a part of the Hyundai chaebol.
Hyundai Group underwent a massive restructuring following the 1997 East Asian financial crisis and the founder's death in 2001. Today many companies bearing the name Hyundai are legally unrelated to the Hyundai Group. Some of the larger former members of the conglomerate include Hyundai Group, Hyundai Kia Automotive Group, Hyundai Department Store Group, Hyundai Heavy Industries Group, and Hyundai Development Group.
Following the separation, Hyundai Group's business remains manufacturing of elevators, container shipping services, and tourism.

Accident Lawyer Information Personal injury place www.personalinjuryplace.com Auto Accident Lawyer Do I need a Car Accident Attorney? Car accidents are very common. Many car accidents are not serious, but if the accident was serious you may have suffered severe damage to your property or person. Depending on the seriousness of the injury, it might be helpful to hire a personal injury attorney. An expert personal injury lawyer can help gather accident reports, medical and insurance forms and correspond with all parties involved. Personal injury lawyers can also interview witnesses and document injuries and explain all the legal statutes. Insurance companies will have a group of adjusters and investigators who want to minimize the amount of money paid to an injured party. A car accident lawyer can work for you to maximize the compensation you receive from your car accident case. Compensation for injuries might be calculated based on monetary losses such as medical expenses, property damage, and lost wages. But they also might include non-economic losses such as permanent disabilities, emotional distress and other pain and suffering. The insurance companies may offer an initial settlement amount that will not fully compensate you for your losses. To make sure you receive the full compensation you deserve consult a personal injury lawyer. If a company was at fault because a defective or recalled product caused the car accident you may be entitled to not only compensatory damages but also punitive damages against the company. A personal injury lawyer can help determine if a company was negligent in the manufacturing of a product. |
